With the introduction and increasing popularity of tablet computers, major platform providers are aiming to have their operating systems perfect for these new touchscreen devices. This is why it will not be a surprise to see a Windows tablet PC in the market anytime soon.

The tablets offered with mobile broadband services now run on Android and iOS. Pretty soon, though, we will have Windows 7 tablet PC devices to admire.

Windows 7 Tablet PC

Right now, we don't know what brands or what models of Windows tablet PC will be offered with UK mobile broadband plans. For the meantime, we can only check out the Windows 7 tablets that are now being offered for sale.

One of these Windows 7 tablet PC devices has been released in Korea and is by LG. This is called E-Note H1000B. It has a 10.1 inch capacitive touchscreen, Intel Atom CPU, Bluetooth, WiFi, and two USB slots. It has no camera and is a bit expensive but it sure looks great. For now, we don't know if this will be released in the UK market. Another Windows tablet PC available now is from a company called In Media. Their tablet also runs on an Intel Atom processor and measures a little over 10 inches. This comes with an LCD touchscreen and can be a perfect mobile multi-media gadget. Other brands that have been reported to be making Windows 7 tablets are Acer and Dell.

We are excited to test these tablets but that is impossible as of now. For now, all that we can do is wait.
